The Land of Smiles

I have decided after my last trip to the Philippines in June 2008, that I would journey back again in February 2009. This time I travel alone and visit much the same regions as I did in 2008. I am flying Brunei Air into Manila on the 22nd February 2009 and have an overnight stay on arrival. The following day I will catch an internal flight to Cebu and plan to stay there in Cebu City for 3 days before I head off to Dumaguete for a 5 day visit. While in Dumaguete I will take a 1 day trip to Dapitan and other local areas like Siquijor Island. After Dumaguete I then ferry over to Bohol for an 8 day trip with 3 of those days being spent on Camiguin Island at the Patsada Cottages. Finally i head back to Cebu for another 3 days stint before flying back to Manila to connect to my flight home. I may possibly look at staying in Brunei for 2 days if time and money allows. So I have much to do and good friends to see and am champing the bit to get on over there.
